 Okay, I have two ways to proceed further. It turns out, somewhat
 surprisingly, that gkmedias.dll is indeed still linked against msvcrt
 (which probably explains the recurring error message). Getting rid of that
 one too might be an idea... The other way is to write patches for mingw
 itself. I talked with ktietz from the mingw people about that and this has
 been done before already (see:
 mingw-w64-code/trunk/mingw-w64-crt/secapi/). Not sure how much work that
 is in our case but we could avoid all this building with mscvr100 stuff
 including the binary blob we ship. Might be worth thinking about.
