Comment:

 For my work with LEAP, I ended up auditing a bunch of the python GnuPG
 tools, and then fixing one of them. If help is still needed on this
 ticket, it is easy for me to do so.

 aagbsn: Did your branch for this ever get merged into the main bridgedb?
 Would you like me to help by reviewing/testing, or by writing something
 using the library I´m maintaining?
