Comment:

 I can at least confirm that HTTPS Everywhere leaks DNS. Upon disabling DNS
 and setting an HTTPS proxy without a SOCKS or HTTP proxy, HTTPS Everywhere
 does not rewrite URLs and the load attempt silently fails.

 This does not occur with NoScript.
