Comment:

 Hi, Lee!  Is this something you could come up with a patch for (e.g.,
 using "git diff" or "diff -u")?  It seems you've got a pretty good handle
 on the issue here.

 Would changing --enable-local-appdata to the default be an adequate fix
 for the big issue here?
