 Oh, and if it *still* doesn't work after changing all those prefs, try
 going back to TBB-stable and setting dom.storage.enabled to true in
 about:config. We patched our DOM storage implementation in TBB-alpha, but
 it is unpatched and merely disabled in TBB-stable. It could actually be
 that patch that is causing problems, I suppose.
