 As discussed in #6337, we do not allow Thunderbird to automatically fetch
 new messages, whether at startup or after a fixed interval. But the users
 can opt-out from this if they want to. Currently, the interface to change
 this is complicated (as discussed in the manual). We should provide an
 accessible way for this to be changed.
