 This is now rebased against the latest master:
 https://gitweb.torproject.org/user/andrea/tor.git/shortlog/refs/heads/bug6465_rebased

 I've tested that client functionality works in the rebased branch, as well
 as hidden services as client and server.  I'll test middle and exit relay
 configurations next, and then make a squashed branch and work on a fix for
 6816 (https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/6816).
