 Hrm.  In a less hacky direction, we should also look at the
 [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=507578 patch which closed
 this ticket].  The existence of per-domain functionality
 [https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Controlling_DNS_prefetching like
 this] makes me hopeful that there could be a way to disable this for a
 single domain.
