 Thanks for this quick answer.
 I try your test program.
 pi at raspberrypi ~ $ gcc -Wall -lcrypto test.c -o test
 pi at raspberrypi ~ $ chmod +x test
 pi at raspberrypi ~ $ ./test
 Stuff seems okay.

 I'm going to try to build Tor from source.
