 I've been spending this whole thing grepping through multigigabyte debug
 logs myself... don't worry about it for now, I think I figured this out.

 Try 2cb82c33bcb59ce65c9738ff8ff4977f39fa3d9f; that just got fixed.

 Okay.  I have a list of potential causes of this in bug 7472 now; if I
 need to use your relay I'll let you know.
