 I guess option 2 isn't that bad, though... At least we can make an effort
 to make sure people know what just happened after update. I'll think about
 it. I like option 1 better, so if you can hack up a patch for that, I'd go
 with that. Otherwise, I'll see if I can last minute punt on option 2.
