 FWIW, this looks correct to me.

 I've run the code on a bridge and provoked the connection to be closed
 in the OR_CONN_STATE_OR_HANDSHAKING_V3 and
 OR_CONN_STATE_TLS_SERVER_RENEGOTIATING states (but not
 OR_CONN_STATE_OR_HANDSHAKING_V2).  Also, a normal client still works
 as expected.

 Branch bug4369 in my repo contains a very small typo in a warning
 printout.
