 The code references a "LICENSE" file, but there doesn't seem to be one.
 There is one in the "old" subdirectory -- if that's still the right
 license, maybe just move it to the toplevel so it's obvious that it
 applies to the project as a whole?

 Weasel reported that that lwn noted this.
