 I changed showWaitDialog() as you propose.

 launchBrowserFromDirectory() was also changed, although "it is a different
 issue".
 I think, I formulated https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/5364
 not clear enough,
 but I'll try to correct this until 5  p.m. German time to-day.
