 Done and merged; thanks for reviewing!

 (I tested the # thing and I thought it had worked, but just because my
 version of asciidoc works properly is no indication that anybody else's
 version of asciidoc isn't broken.  I used an "an" because for some reason
 I was thinking of it as an octothorpe, though I recognize for many people
 it's a pound sign or a hash, and for me it's usually a number sign, or a
 sharp if I'm doing scheme.)
