 It's known that 0.2.2.17-alpha was violated rfc2616, see #5593 for
 details. Should it to be that you didn't try 0.2.2.36 or 0.2.2.37 yet?

 It's unlikely to get 403 for missed Host field, but you could try to test
 it again with new stable versions.
