Comment(by proper):

 Not fixed for me.

 1. apt-get purge thunderbird
 2. rm .thunderbird
 3. Installed thunderbird and latest git TorBirdy again.

 POP not default.
 Layout issue persists.

 I am not complying, just helping testing.
