Okay one final one ticket from me today and again apologies if I have
classified this wrongly, not sure what it comes under - have been trying
to figure out how to make ocat work and did a lot of reading but the
contact email for requesting further help (ocat-talk at cypherpunk.at) seems
to be gone :(( and I'm also having trouble getting the tun/tap thing to
work (installer fails) and again where to go for help with these dead
email addresses... can someone signpost me in the right direction? As in a
contact email address that's current or some other help? Or details of any
equivalent program to what OnionTor provides or provided for the Mac?

Also, and this point could be regarded as more to do with an enhancement
request maybe and it kind of relates to what ocat is partly for too, but
people say BitTorrent and Tor don't jive - what I've noticed though is
that whilst the DHT aspect of BitTorrent doesn't seem to work (the
information on where the peers are doesn't seem to go through) once that
information is obtained (outside of Tor), the download itself routes
through Tor just fine. I don't know all the technical ins and outs of how
these things work but it seems to me there could be a way of enhancing Tor
so that the list of peers from which the downloading is done, the DHT
gathering process, could be found/read also..? I imagine the problem is
to do with the Tor IPs and how they are resolved or something like that
but I don't get how the actual downloading of the actual file itself works
through it and only the initial DHT bit (where the seeders are) seems to
not work and so would be curious as to the explanation for this or any
further development or ideas in this regard...
