 I'm also affected to this problem. I reference to this page which also can

 I'm using HTC Desire HD, rooted, Android Revolution HD 6.3.2 (Android
 2.3.5).

 After "chmod 666
 /data/data/org.torproject.android/cache/control_auth_cookie", I get:

 Circuit (3): FAILED; PURPOSE=GENERAL

 Later:

 [scrubbed]:443. Giving up. (waiting for a circuit)
 orConnStatus($<HERE A LONG HASH THING>): FAILED;
 }}}


 This [Tor Control Port] thing is happening on different ports, like 0,
 9090 and 9101.


 After a time the App says it would have a connection to the TOR-Network,
 so it's green.. ..but in fact it isn't true because I can't get any
 connection through it.
