Comment:

 http://petsymposium.org/2012/papers/hotpets12-1-usability.pdf mentions the
 captcha redirect prompt as a significant usability issue. Switching our
 url bar search default to startpage will eliminate the captcha warning for
 all but direct Google users, and #6424 will be for that case.
