 Reviewing that branch...

 I think that having two functions for the nodelist_*_routerinfo stuff may
 be needless.  Have a look at the commit I added at the head of
 56bb011d2db9e2feff5.  How does that look?  (It needs a better commit
 message)

 Otherwise, this branch looks ok to me.
