Comment(by tri):

 Stripped binary when compiled with default compilation flags (same as tor-
 resolve) in Linux (OpenSUSE 12.1) is 121984 bytes. However the text
 segment of the object is only 7112 bytes. Like tor-resolve, tor-connect
 relies on libraries in tor distribution so I guess that settles the issue
 on where it should live, unless it's discarded altogether or rewritten.
