 these should now be fixed with patches 0003 through 0006. I haven't
 checked if "git clean -xf" is still required though, nor have I resolved
 why we get some longer object names in src/test. It should at least build
 now though :)

 (I'd curse automake, but having spent enough time with the alternatives, I
 love it too much).
