 According to https://mail1.eff.org/pipermail/https-
 everywhere/2012-April/001363.html , the https-everywhere-uri-rewrite event
 is not being sent by the 2.0.x builds of HTTPS Everywhere, which would
 create special new incompatibility problems in the current stable branch.

 (I have not yet confirmed/reproduced this)
