#5626: More accessible way to change identity over commandline

If you are connecting to tor via ssh and a port forward
(for an extra layer of security, or because it's not possible on your
connection, or possibly because you rent the service)
it's difficult and sometimes (if you don't have access to the node) to
 change identity.

I run tor over ssh and I wanted to see what it's like in China online.
But unlike i2p which has a web interface with tor I have to have root to
edit torrc.conf and then lookup a node in China. It's cumbersome and for
some people who use a node they don't fully control it's not even
 possible.

A method to switch randomly is discussed here:
 http://stackoverflow.com/questions/3992774/how-do-i-use-tidtelnet-to-send-
 commands

Specifying requirements like country would be great but just a step in
the right direction would be a simpler way to do it than needing to script
something to edit the config file and restart the node.

I'm sorry if this is a dupe. I did search but I didn't know what words I
should be searching for to find this subject. If you have better luck
please let me know what words you used.
