i have few questions

in the torperf**/measurements-HOWTO :
i have :
"cd ~/torperf/torclient50kb && tor -f ~/torperf/torclient50kb/torrc"

on my terminal i always get a :
-bash: tor: command not found

 what can i possibly do about that ?

also when executing :

" cd ~/torperf/torclient50kb && python ../extra_stats.py 10020 ../50kb.extradata  "

and after an enormous effort with uncountable python "errors" (probably introduced by me) i get some thing like :

Connection refused. Is the ControlPort enabled?
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/Users/aichetou/O/torperf/extra_stats.py", line 172, in <module>

  File "/Users/aichetou/O/torperf/extra_stats.py", line 43, in connect
    self._conn.debug(file("control.log", "w"))
AttributeError: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'debug'

although vidalia is already running i tried opening the ports 10020, 10021 and 10022 but still nothing changes

here https://gitweb.torproject.org/atagar/pytorctl.git/commitdiff/565e18a6ff6189dd11d8a43ca77eed287743b479 is a torCtl with some changing, some of these changes i already have them others only add me more python issues so it did not help

what can i do about thiss error
