 I just tested this and it works in TBB...

 I get "Your comment has been saved and will be visible after blog owner
 approval."

 Preview also works.

 Was it a transient failure? Or is this specific to Firefox and not TBB? I
 am not aware of any of our patches that should break this functionality.

 Perhaps it is specific to your Firefox because of an addon conflict?
