Comment:

 Reopening and renaming.  0.2.2.x-alpha is now a thing of the past, but
 it's possible that 0.2.3.x-alpha and 0.2.4.x-alpha might exist at the same
 time!  Given our ambitions of getting releases out faster, and given our
 deliverables of putting features out at particular times, it's all but
 certain that sooner or later we'll want to put out one of the later
 alpha/beta/rc releases of series X while at the same time we have stable
 releases of X-1 and early alphas of X+1.
