Comment:

 Still there with beta 5.

 Just to make sure, this is clear: the browser is virtually unusable until
 you've deactivated the Torbutton plugin and then you can/must manually
 edit your proxy configuration. Afterwards you need to set
 extensions.torbutton.tor_enabled to false via about:config, then you can
 reactivate the extension and need to be very careful not to close
 Iceweasel with the button enabled. As long as you disable Tor mode before
 closing the browser, everything is fine. Thus I raised the Priority to
 major.
