 I attached two patches to the gettor code. one fixes a documentation
 issue, the other uses the better rsync host for website mirroring. Not
 sure if packages.py will like the full rsync url, but you get the idea.
 rsync.tpo is hosted in austria and is frequently bandwidth constrained.
 aroides is hosted on the same hardware as gettor. aroides is not bandwidth
 constrained.
