Comment:

 The latest development build addresses this issue in two ways:

 1) it will check if the version of iptables you have, and your kernel,
 support the netfilter owner module, which is required for transparent
 proxying.

 2) it includes its own build of iptables, in case the error is due to the
 lack of iptables and/or an old version.

 Please test the latest build (uninstall any existing build), and let us
 know if there is any improvement.
