 fon tells us to use their fonera platform, others tell us their fonera
 hardware isn't all that great.

 buffalo doesn't respond at all.

 ubiquiti suggest we use their forums to figure out solutions.

 excito gave us from free hardware, and bridges and relays work really well
 on the system, even under load.

 the chosen buffalo works well if you plug a 1gb usb stick into it.
 bridges run just fine on it.

 the dreamplug and pirate box are other options
