 I was thinking and talking with atagar, I realized that we have a good Tor
 UI for torouter that we hadn't discussed, tor-arm!

 apt-get install tor-arm
 zcat /usr/share/doc/tor-arm/armrc.sample.gz > ~/.armrc
 }}}

 I configured Tor like so:
 {{{
 ControlPort 9051
 ControlListenAddress 127.0.0.1:9051
 CookieAuthentication 1
 }}}

 I reconfigured arm like so:
 {{{
 root at torouter:~# cat .armrc |head
 # Startup options
 startup.cookie
 }}}

 Now I have a Tor controller on the Torouter that could easily be started
 at boot time in a screen session. A user could login to the machine and
 attach to the shared screen to see the current stats - this would make it
 easy to view stats and to configure it.

 Thoughts atagar?
