 I also reconfigured '''/etc/inittab''' to remove the following lines:

 3:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty3
 4:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty4
 5:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty5
 6:23:respawn:/sbin/getty 38400 tty6
 }}}

 That leaves us with tty1 - though I don't think we need it as we only use
 ttyS0 for the UART/JATG serial connection.
