 #4 sounds good to me, though I sincerely hope it is merely suspended
 rather than canceled while we sort out one of the other solutions. We
 definitely should not continue to ship something that endangers our users.

 We should make sure to direct the angry hordes to the Pidgin bug too. :)
 By "we" I mean "me", when I write the blog post.
