 I thought it might be good to point out that weasel currently patches Tor
 before he builds it. This is the patch:

 While I doubt that we need to change our defaults, I thought nick and arma
 should be aware of the patch, decide if it's worth making weasel's well
 thought out patch our default. If not, I thought it would be nice to have
 a reference that was easy to find and that everyone was aware of how the
 packages differ from our upstream sources.
