 There have been no further updates to the Pidgin bug since
 [http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/11110#comment:16 comment 16], currently
 8 weeks ago.  Do we fix Pidgin, toss Pidgin's XMPP plugin, or toss Pidgin?
