New description:

OpenVPN includes a "port share" option that allows OpenVPN to run on port
443 and to pass through HTTPS
connections to a Web server running on the same machine (see
 http://christophe.vandeplas.com/2008/06/01/portsharing-with-openvpn).
Thus, both applications are able to use
port 443 at the same time.

Implementing such a feature for Tor may allow to make it harder to detect
Tor bridges from the outside, as they could
behave to non-Tor clients such as a regular Web server (and even include
 legitimate Web content).

Furthermore, such a feature may make it easier for people running bridges
to run these bridges on port 443, as it is
still possible to run a HTTPS server at the same IP.
