 One workaround for this bug is to run “`firefox -no-remote`”.  That will
 start a non-TBB Firefox even if a TBB Firefox is already running.
 Unfortunately, it won't work if a non-TBB Firefox is already running, so
 you can't just add `-no-remote` to the command line in your system's
 Firefox launcher.

 The only way I can think of to fix this bug is to patch the copy of
 Firefox in TBB to not support the Firefox remote-control protocol at all.
