Those failures look mysterious enough that I am going to guess that all 
are due to a lack of free memory.  I saw a suggestion somewhere to 
remove -pipe from the gcc flags (slower but uses less VM), although it 
looks like you would have to modify Mozilla's configure.in files to make 
that happen.
