[tbb-dev] problem with ESR31 TB build (binutils/gold)

To close the loop on this (at least for now):

1. I located my tbb-4.0a3-build3 build (not deleted) and I confirmed 
that I did not encounter this problem while building it.

2. After I removed the target-* VM images under gitian-builder and 
restarted the build, it succeeded.

I don't like mysterious failures (especially when I begin with a 
completely clean tree) but I now have some ESR31-based builds and that 
makes me happy.
