 Disqus was working with Tor Browser 7, but today I got upgraded to Tor
 Browser 8 and Disqus stopped working. Something was different. Since I
 mainly comment on Disqus sites (there are many), and since it had
 something to do with isolation of tabs, I thought enabling 3rd party
 cookies might help, and it did. Before several months, when I logged in,
 all my content tabs with Discus comments changed from 'Log in' to 'Logged
 in'. That no longer happens. But now that the content tabs can see the 3rd
 party cookie, they let me log in.
