 I like the animated icon. However, I think we should not only rely on it
 indicating that Tor Browser is starting up but rather having some kind of
 progress visible seems useful to me. (especially given the bootstrap could
 take quite some time).

 So, the overall idea is to just connect directly and only try other ways
 once the direct connection fails? What about scenarios where users need to
 hide the fact that they are using Tor in the first place by using things
 like the built-in meek PT right from start?
