 The minimum version I tested in a physical device was version 22 (Android
 5.1.1). Version 21 I tested now in the emulator and I see the exactly same
 problem you are seeing. With and Without the onboarding patch, if the
 homepage configuration is added.

 Can you give this patch a final round of testing? I don't have a mobile
 device with me right now.
