 I have not run Tor Browser on macOS 10.13.x, so it is possible that there
 is a conflict on that OS. But that would not explain the 10.12.x crashes.
 Here are some questions for the original reporter:

 Did this just start happening? In other words, did older versions of Tor
 Browser work without crashing?

 Do you have any antivirus or antimalware software installed? Does it help
 to disable it?

 If you delete or set aside the following folder, does the crash still
 occur?
  ~/Library/Application\ Support/TorBrowser-Data/

 What do you see on the screen before the crash occurs (if anything)?

 Please try running the application from a shell prompt and let us know
 what messages you see. Open Terminal and type this:
  /Applications/TorBrowser.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox
