Comment:

 Here is a fix (untested so far, but it should fix the problem):

 This does not seem like an urgent fix, but we should pick it up as soon as
 possible so fewer updates will be affected in the future.

 We may also want to tell Windows users that it is safe to delete a
 leftover <installpath>/Browser/updated directory.
