Hi Metrics team!

This Friday Nov 17 is the when the 'chatting' time ends and we start
with execution.

This is just symbolic, of course you will not stop talking with other
people! But hopefully by this Friday you and the teams who wrote
questions related to the Metrics team roadmap, has either addressed them
and all is good, or made a plan on how to stay in touch as you work on
stuff.

I am sending a similar note to all teams.

I also would like to call your attention to Services and UX Team
roadmaps that were added to the pad:

If you have questions for them, there is an section for them at the
questions pad:

Finally, below are the questions other teams wrote to Metrics team,
please take a look at them and follow up with whatever is necessary:

[Tor Browser] Do you feel we could get #24045 and #24018 on your roadmap?
[KL: I was about to ask you about #24018 anyway, and #24045 was
something I almost started doing today, so I'd say we can make room for
it if they are useful for you.]
[Arthur: Let's talk further about what is in scope for metrics. I'm in
general interesting in trying to make ongoing measurements to
improve/maintain Tor Browser performance.]
[KL: That sounds like something that's sort of in scope but not clearly
our main work. We can probably just spend a small fraction of our
overall time on that for now until we have a better idea who should be
doing it in the future. Also, in July 2018 we'll grow from 2 to 3 team
members, which may affect this question, too.]

[Network] Privcount is on the way; how will it affect you? Will it let
us _stop_ collecting any statistics in the current way?
[KL: We should probably start getting data from PrivCount before
removing those statistics from tor, but yes, once we're there it will
let us stop collecting statistics in the current way.]
{NM: Is your team available to help pick out the privcount stats?}
[KL: Yes, please ping us.]

[Network] Be aware: We're probably going to report a bunch of stuff less
frequently.
[KL: Can you be more specific what stuff this entails, other than
written/read bytes that will be reported for 24 hours rather than 4 hours?]
{NM: That's the big one; we may identify other stuff in the future.}

[Network] Re "ipv6 graphs" -- will this be fraction of relays using
IPv6? Advertising it, or actually working?
[KL: Unclear, I haven't started looking into making these graphs yet,
but if you have a preference, be sure to let us know.]
{NM: Preference would be fraction with working IPv6. Though both would
be even better.}
