As discussed yesterday, I tried out this branch with older pandas and
seaborn versions---and failed even with the versions found in Debian
oldstable. The versions in Debian stable work just fine, though. That's
python3-pandas (0.23.3+dfsg-3) and python3-seaborn (0.9.0-1). I'd say
let's require those versions and not worry about older versions. Things
are moving too fast in this space that we can develop for a range of
versions. Developing for versions found in Debian stable has been the
policy in the past, and it should work here, too.
While doing these tests I found an issue in the code. Please also review
