hello Sebastian :)

thanks for the answer!

i have not seen the bugtracker until know but i will have a look at it soon.

i have not worked with wml till know but i have had a short look at it and made me an overview of it. as you say it really shouldnt be difficult to learn all about it. because i always love to learn new things and programming languages i will take the time to intensively engage with it so the work on the website will no problem for me.

i know about git but i dont have really worked much with it. but as the thing with wml i will invest the time that i become qualified to work with it perfectly. i also like this because i always wanted to spend more time with git and work with it. its really interesting and now i have a very great reason to become good at working with git.

in the next days i will clone the repo and have a intense look at the code.

now i have joined both irc channels via freenode. is this the right way or is that with the oftc network a other way?

from which country are the (web-)developers/the other team and which languages do they speak. and im also interested in how big is the team (whole team and webdevelopers?
what else jobs are there to do in the whole project?
i would also like to do german translation for that parts that are only english at the moment (web and software).
as i already said a dozen times: i am open for all kind of jobs that can be done :)

i am really glad that there is the possibility to help the tor project. thank you again!

ps: because of your name: are you a german? because i am from austria and so we could communicate in german (in the case i am right and youre german ;)

Well, after they promised I reply I better do that, don't I :)

Awesome. We have few people who are excited about web development
amongst us, and I'm not one of them either. I'm just taking care of what
needs doing most because nobody else is and it's really important. As
you can probably tell, there's lots to be done.

First off, have you seen our bugtracker at https://trac.torproject.org?
It is used not just for code bugs, but also website issues,
enhancements, etc. Take a look at the website component there.

Our website is written in WML, an html-like language with some
extensions to facilitate includes and supporting some calculations etc.
If you don't know it already, it should not be hard to get familiar with
it at all. We maintain the website from a git repository, available at
https://gitweb.torproject.org/project/web/webwml.git/ - do you know your
way around git?

Also feel free to swing by our irc channels #tor and #tor-dev on the
OFTC network, that's where we do most of our communication/discussion.

Cheers and all the best
Sebastian
