This caught my eye... Looks like there are ~8000 direct users, and 100-200 bridge users now. There aren't many details, and the English version of the press release is a direct Google Translate from the original. I couldn't find the step-by-step guide mentioned, I'm thinking it's accessible after you log in but maybe it's not published yet.

Agreed. And even better, just introduce them to GetTor. And encourage them to report issues if they've problems with it. ilv and sukhe are constantly working on improving this service. sending an empty email to gettor@torproject.org should get them going... -- Nima
